As part of our ongoing expansion of analytical services, NSL is proud to announce that we have added moisture analysis by Karl Fischer titration to our ISO 17025 accreditation scope. This method measures precise water levels as low as 10 ppm in a wide range of organic and inorganic materials. Sample materials can be analyzed in liquid or solid form, using either volumetric or coulometric techniques.

As a member of The Vision Council, NSL Analytical Services is proud to support National Sunglasses Day on Sunday, June 27.  This initiative promotes the importance of wearing ultraviolet (UV)-protective eyewear.  The annual celebration reminds everyone that wearing sunglasses is not only fashionable, but it is also a health necessity.

Dr. Dave van der Wiel, NSL's Director of Technology Development, spoke at the 2020 ASTM International Conference on Additive Manufacturing. His presentation covered powder flow and avalanche rheometry.

NSL Analytical Services, Inc. has registered with DDTC regarding the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  NSL is now accepting projects subject to ITAR/EAR registration.

NASA’s Perseverance rover, which is scheduled to land on Mars on February 18, 2021, will reportedly carry eleven metal additively manufactured parts. “Flying these parts to Mars is a huge milestone that opens the door a little more for Additive Manufacturing in the space industry,” said Andre Pate, the group lead for Additive Manufacturing at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California.
